Manchester United drew 2-2 with Olympique Lyonnais in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals, played at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in France.
Lyon opened the scoring in the 25th minute, with Thiago Almada taking advantage of a mistake by goalkeeper André Onana. United responded just before halftime, with Leny Yoro scoring his first goal for the club. In the second half, Joshua Zirkzee put United ahead in the 88th minute after a cross from Bruno Fernandes. However, in stoppage time, Rayan Cherki capitalized on another error from Onana to equalize the match.
This result leaves the tie wide open ahead of the second leg at Old Trafford.
